A Cover Letter Template That Really Works

Create a cover letter example and then rework it to fit each company you are targeting for a job interview. For example, all cover letter templates need five elements: heading (your name and contact information), date, inside address (hiring manager’s name and contact information), greeting or salutation (Dear Ms. or Mr. Hiring Manager), body of the letter (a friendly opening, a reference to your previous experience, an example of your particular duties), and a request for an interview.
